I have been working as a Chef for 2 years, and throughout that time, I’ve gained extensive experience in cooking and baking, which I absolutely love. I’ve worked in high-volume kitchens, so I’m used to managing multiple orders while keeping everything perfectly cooked. My focus has always been on producing great-tasting food quickly and efficiently, and I pride myself on my ability to adapt to different menus, ingredients, and cooking styles.
I’m very reliable and can handle multiple tasks without compromising on quality. I am also a good communicator, which I think is key in a fast-paced kitchen. Whether I’m collaborating with chefs or coordinating with front-of-house staff, I know how to stay clear and direct to keep everything running smoothly. Plus I’m passionate about food and direct to keep everything running smoothly.
After working at Radisson Hotel and Convention Centre, O.R. Tambo, as a student chef for just over 4 months, I was given a contract of employment as a Commis Pastry Chef by my Executive Chef. Working at Radisson allowed me to not only broaden my skills and knowledge, but also allowed me to cater for some of South Africa’s most important Politicians and Celebrities. I even had the opportunity to speak with the President of South Africa, President Cyril Ramaposa, about the lovely dishes we had catered for him.
I would require assistance with relocation in regards to a Sponsorship Visa. I would be willing to relocate easily as I have previously lived in the UK and look forward to returning.
