" I have been working in Kenya power for more than 8 years mainly experienced in live line 11kv and 33kv lines, operations and maintenance,distribution and construction of new line both overhead and underground.
Transformer maintenance,air break switches,load break switches,OSM, switching and earthing, energising transformers, maintenance of HV lines through erection of midspan poles under live condition, changing pin insulators, cut outs,cross arm, tensioning,trace maintenance along HV lines using powesaws,cutters and trimmers.
Having accomplished zero incidences and zero accidents in my team.
Having worked in L&T contractors and Tunkey projects.
I have managed to save Kenya power company revenue when I maintain lines without switching off. "
