I have ample work experience of providing overall program leadership and managing different emergency, recovery, and resilience building projects both in Ethiopia and South Sudan. Of this, my international work experience in South Sudan accounts almost eight years managing and coordinating different program/projects with special focus on Food Security and Livelihood sector and Disaster Risk Management. I have good exposure to different multi-sectorial projects funded by DFAT, World Bank, BMZ, Australia Aid, CIDA, USAID, EU, FAO, WFP & GAC.

• the overall strategic direction and performance of the CARE FS&E programme pillar. The range of duties include playing a critical role in defining the pillarss programmes, principles, objectives and operational strategies in line with the country office strategy; setting standards for programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation; overseeing project planning and budgeting; giving technical assistance to staff (including recruiting and hiring specialists as needed where required); ensuring collaboration with counterpart agencies; representing the CO to external organisations.

S/he will be responsible for technical quality assurance for these projects and ensuring that reports from field teams are reviewed and meet the technical requirements and comply with donor guidelines before submission to different stakeholders.
