Skills Provision is searching for an Oilfield Equipment Design Engineer for a position in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview
Design and develop oilfield equipment using CAD/CAE software.
Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and FEA to verify design integrity.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards.
Work closely with internal teams.
Support prototype building, testing, and troubleshooting.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Update designs based on performance feedback.
Provide technical assistance during installation, commissioning, and field operations.
Maintain accurate records and manage design changes.
Research and apply new materials and technologies to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Candidate Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Petroleum Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in oilfield equipment design.
Experience in designing rotating equipment, including but not limited to: Cementing Units, Pumping Units, Slickline Units, Hydraulic Power Packs, Acid Tanks, Pumps, Separators, etc.
Well-versed in CAD software.
Strong understanding of professional standards: API, ASME, and ISO.
Good understanding of structural mechanics, hydraulics, and metallurgy.
Effective problem solver.
Methodical thinker with a strong focus on precision.
Effective communicator in formal English, across written and oral formats.
Desirable
Offshore and onshore design experience.
ERP system knowledge.
Project Management /Lead Six Sigma certification.
