Skills Provision is searching for a HGV Mechanic to join an established company in County Cork, Ireland.

Pay

€25 per hour, OTE €50,700 per year.

The Role

HGV Mechanic duties and responsibilities include:

• Planned preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Use of diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out 12-week checks.
• Servicing of all vehicles.
• Keep accurate records.
• Ensure vehicle compliance.
• Attend training courses as required.
• Commitment to health and safety.
• Travel between company sites.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Formal trade qualifications.
• Experience on Volvo and Scania trucks would be preferred.
• Hold a valid Category B (Car) Driving license. Category C would be welcomed.
• Knowledge of auto-electrical/hydraulic systems would be advantageous.
• Competent English language skills.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Effective problem solver.
• Sound attention to detail.
• Hard working nature.
