Skills Provision is searching for a Child Autism Support Specialist for a private household in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

The employing family is looking for assistance in providing specialised care for their six-year-old boy.

Salary

Tax-free monthly salary between US $1500 and $2000 per month.

Working Hours

  • 8 – 10 hours per day, including a 2-hour break

The Role

As the Child Autism Support Specialist, your primary role is to create an environment that helps the child cope with his condition and to improve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field e.g. psychology, special education or occupation therapy. Additional certifications in autism specialisation would be welcomed
  • Previous experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders preferably in an educational/clinical setting
  • Well-versed in autism spectrum disorders, including developmental milestones and principles of child development
  • Fluent level of English and or Arabic – written and oral
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Respectful of diversity and cultural sensitivity
