" Being DCDP in our kitchen my main task is to assist the section management by supporting the Chef de Partie in managing a specific section of the kitchen (grill, pastry, fish, vegetables).Taking charge of the section in the absence of the Chef de Partie, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Ill be also in food preparation like preparing ingredients for dishes according to the section's requirements, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. I should be able to handle the mise en place, to ensure that everything is ready for service. Whenever im free i will directly assist in cooking and assembling dishes under the guidance of the Chef de Partie.3. Cooking and Plating:Cook dishes to the restaurant's standards, paying attention to portion sizes, seasoning, and presentation.Ensure that dishes are plated attractively and served in a timely manner.Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and quality across all dishes prepared in the section. "
