Within the nursing profession, I believe there are many areas I could pursue. Throughout my studies, I've worked in different areas of the hospital and was always willing to learn and give my all. However, the area that motivates me most is maternity and pediatrics. I earned a master'a degree in pediatric nursing because I'm passionate about children and I wanted to better understand how children function and develop. I really enjoy the work of a maternity and pediatric nurse, because they must take care and support children and families.
Also, I'm a person who really likes the educational part of the nursing profesion and I enjoy explaining to patients about their ilness and healing process, as well as the techniques I perform. And one of the things I enjoy most is helping new mothers understand their bodies and the changes that occur in them and their babies.
On the other hand, nurses not only care for the patient's physical health but also their psychological health. Personally, I really enjoy listening to patients and being able to help with kind words.
