Healthcare Assistant, Caregiver Seeking Employment

" With a background in sociology and an undying passion for service, I have built a career shaped by care, communication, and a desire to make a real difference in peoples lives. Holding a B.Sc in Sociology, I bring an understanding of human behaviour that has proven invaluable in both healthcare, education and administrative settings.

Over the years, I’ve worked closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams, gaining meaningful experiences across hospitals, care homes, and maternal health facilities. Whether assisting with activities of daily living or offering emotional support, I’ve always approached my work with empathy and professionalism. These efforts have not only helped clients and residents feel seen and valued but have also earned me recognition for going the extra mile with a Humanitarian Service Award in caregiving by the Society for Geriatric Health.

I seek an opportunity to work with international professionals and explore diverse cultures. My career objective is to put into practical use knowledge gained in my academics and training by working and developing myself with a reputable, ethical, innovative and a growing institution for the benefit of all stakeholders and the society at large.

Beyond work, I find joy in music and the kitchen. I’ve had the honour of performing as a chorister (I still do) and even received awards for my vocal contributions. Singing has taught me the value of harmony both, musically and in teamwork. Cooking, on the other hand, is where I express creativity and care, especially when preparing meals that bring comfort or meet specific dietary needs.

Every role that I've ,'ve taken on has shaped who I am today as someone who listens deeply, acts with intention, and cares genuinely. I believe in showing up for people, learning continuously, and staying grounded in kindness regardless of the setting. "
