What inspires me is building technology that solves real-world problems and creates meaningful business impact. Having worked in the Bay Area for nearly 5 years, I'm fascinated by London's rapidly growing FinTech ecosystem and dynamic tech scene.
When developing my research topic proposal, I took a deep dive into the FinTech industry to write my literature review. UK, specifically, London, stood out to me as a great career pivot in terms of demographics and opportunities. I discovered my genuine interest in contributing to London's unique blend of financial innovation and technological advancements. With my main coursework complete and location flexibility, I'm excited about the challenge of starting fresh.
My passion spans full-stack development, data engineering, and AI engineering, alongside rigorous research. I love building complete solutions from frontend interfaces to robust backend systems, whilst exploring the theoretical foundations that make them possible. I enjoy the entire product development lifecycle, from data collection, architecting data pipelines, to creating user-friendly applications.
What makes me tick is translating complex technical challenges into elegant, scalable solutions that users depend on.
Outside work, I'm passionate about traveling and exploring different cultures and cuisines, which makes the prospect of making the move to another country exciting. I also thoroughly enjoy theatre and the arts.
