Experienced power Linesman Seeking employment

" Competent overhead power linesman with 4 years’ experience in overheard line construction and maintenance, faults clearing equipment installation team player, good communication skills

Worked with Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi Limited (ESCOM) as power lineman transmission from 2021 to 2025 and worked as Distribution Supervisor from July 2025 to present

Conversant with Maintenance procedures in transmission and distribution lines of voltages from 66kv, 132kv and 400kv. I specialize in planning maintenance, changing of rotten poles(for wooden pole overhead lines), replacing broken disc insulators, installing polymers, stringing overhead line conductors and aerial earth conductors sagging and jumpering, installing vibration dampers and spacers.
Knowledge of tower assembly and erection using winch, ginpole and wire ropes.

Strong knowledge of switching operations

Installing equipment on distribution overhead power lines like distribution transformers, Combi units, surge arrestors and fuses.

Team worker able to collaborate and safety conscious very conversant with site safety procedures hazzard identification and risk management. "
