I play soccer every week and have done so since I was kid. It has taught me teamwork and resilience, which are qualities that I feel have helped me professionally.
Meeting deadlines is always a motivator for me, whether it's a work project or a personal one. I like to get things done and tick them off my list when in school, so having something looming over my head motivates me to get it done quickly and efficiently as possible. Sometimes that means working long hours or skipping breaks, but it's always worth it when I can see the results of my labor.
