Skills Provision is searching for a Service Centre Manager for a company in Greece.

Our client develops, manufactures, and markets a complete range of laboratory equipment used for research in molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, immunology, and chemistry.

The Role

  • Direct and coordinate service support activities.
  • Work closely with Technical Support.
  • Responsible for establishing and managing department budgets.
  • Set objectives and goals for the team and measure performance against set goals. Evaluate results and hold self and direct reports accountable.
  • Monitor CRM system to ensure timely response to customer complaints/repairs. Identify and document problem trends. Escalate problems to other departments when necessary.
  • Recruit, train, equip, and develop new personnel.
  • Write and deliver annual and mid-year performance reports.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Key Performance metrics to ensure that department is in line with company overall goals set by senior management.
  • Develop and maintain department SOP’s and work instructions ensuring compliance with the company’s quality systems.



  • Hold a relevant Degree
  • 5-7 years of field service and/or service centre management experience in medical devices or biotechnology.
  • Ability to identify product, employee and service trends through the development and analysis of reports utilising data from the CRM system.
  • Relate well to all employees and customers.
  • Is dedicated to exceeding expectations.
  • Make good decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills (Greek/English)
  • Ability to engage and inspire people to develop a culture of professionalism, commitment to improvement, and teamwork.
