A Multi-Faceted and Technology-Driven Giant in the Fuel Management Industry need to employ a Senior Analyst to join their team in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Role

  • Download information from client controllers
  • Validation of data downloaded
  • Import information into the Company’s Information systems and allocation of all masters
  • Immediate identification of any exceptions and anomalies for escalation to the relevant departments within the Company
  • Compile and send daily required reports on time through to the relevant customers and Company personnel
  • Compile reconciliation reports and ensure that the reconciliation is in order
  • Escalate any anomalies identified, supported by relevant information to all relevant parties concerned
  • Analysis and interpretation of data
  • Compile monthly executive summaries as required
  • Liaise with the customer and Business Consultants/ Site managers to get required information when needed
  • Get feedback from the relevant parties to ensure that the escalated problem has been fixed
  • Liaise with technical personnel on the ground to resolve any operational issues picked up in the anomaly investigation
  • Follow up problems and drive the initiative to solve them
  • Build client relationships



  • Degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to present information to a client meeting forum confidently
  • Ability to comprehend processes, and logically solve problems which may be identified
  • SQL working experience with data extract and transformation a must
  • Analytical person with a keenly developed appreciation of attention to detail
  • A high degree of delivery drive, accountability and integrity
  • Be capable of working unsupervised whilst understanding the importance and interdependencies of the team
  • A good communicator both internally with other team members as well as externally with our clients
  • Be able to handle pressure and take responsibility for workload
  • Service orientated
