I believe in High Standards of Care for all patients and so I’ve spent one year in a Post Graduation, to make sure I would have the background needed to assess and reassess emergency cases.
This willingness to learn opened doors to help others to improve, as I would have students or the Head Nurse would ask me to be a preceptor for new staff.
Also, I’ve worked in the Covid Pandemic in a Central Hospital in Portugal where we were able to deal with the sickest patients.
- Post graduated in Medical Emergency and Catastrophe, Advanced life support, Pediatric advanced life support, International Trauma Life Support, International Trauma Life Support in Military, All Hazards response, Advanced Life Support for Burned people, Critical Transportation.
Since 2018 until 2023 worked in the Emergency Department in Portugal. From 2022 until 2023 I became a Charge Nurse and in those 5 years of experience in the Emergency Department I would be a preceptor for students or new staff as well.
Since a very young age I always liked to travel, and that’s one of my favorite things to do. I also love music, I play a couple of music instruments as well. I am very obsessed with working out and taking care of myself and I like planing my meals for the week. I also enjoy cooking as a hobby.
