Senior Software Engineer Required in Germany

Skills Provision is searching for a Senior Software Engineer for a company in Germany.

Our client provides computing solutions to the international scientific research community.

Location: Berlin, Germany

Position: Permanent

Salary & Benefits

• €78,000 p/a

The Role

• Design, develop, maintain, enhance, review, repair and analyse source code
• Learning new technologies and implementing them into company projects
• Provide demonstrations to co-workers and where necessary clients
• Review 3^rd party code and submit detailed reports
• Participate in discussions on how to improve our development process
• Attend monthly managerial meetings
• Mentor junior members of the team
• Keep abreast of new technology

Requirements

• Degree in computer science
• Strong understanding of one (at least) programming language
• Good knowledge of SQL and database theory
• Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Experience working with revision control systems
• Desire to improve oneself via conferences or training
• Value concise solutions to complicated problems
• Self-motivated
• Fluent in German and English
