Senior Project Manager Needed in Sweden

Skills Provision is searching for a Senior Project Manager for a company in Sweden.

Role

• Be the technical expert for metal food cans.
• Drive package development projects.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Market Research to identify and refine viable product concepts.
• Work in conjunction with Manufacturing Operations and Quality Assurance to test and commission new products.
• Identify and drive major cost savings initiatives to completion.
• Prepare reports and make presentations internally to all levels within the business and externally to key channel customers.
• Conduct broad and in-depth technical feasibility assessments for applicable technologies, including other aspects such as, supply chain, manufacturing, cost drivers, IP related and consumer impact.
• Provide project and functional leadership to champion new technologies and product ideas.
• Keep abreast of new packaging technologies.
• Participate in the creation of partnerships and joint development programs.
• Document packaging specifications, monthly project updates and other critical subjects.

Requirements

• Minimum BS degree in Engineering, Packaging, or similar subject.
• At least 10 years experience.
• Substantial demonstrated experience in packaging and cans.
• Wide ranging knowledge of food processing equipment.
• Well-developed technical and all-around business skills.
• Strong project management experience.
• Strong communicator.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
• Hardworking nature.
• Must be willing to travel.
