Senior Manager Needed in South Africa

Skills Provision is searching for a Senior Manager for a company in Cape Town, South Africa.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the sustainable long-term success of the employer-employee contractual relationship through the development, implementation and monitoring of all relevant policies, practices, procedures and initiatives, as well as adherence to relevant legislation.

The Role

• Contribute as a member of the Human Resources Management team
• Contribute to the exploration, development and prioritisation of HR strategy, policy, practice, procedures and initiatives in the organisation
• Implement, procedures and initiatives in the organisation
• Implement, optimise, and continuously improve HR Best Practices within the organisation
• Lead the delivery of a cutting edge and market-aligned professional HR business Partnership and services to the organisation in the areas of Transformation, Manpower planning, Recruitment and selection, Employment Equity, HR Consulting, Employee Wellness, Change Management etc
• Facilitate and manage the Transformation Process in the organisation
• Manage business and functional risks and ensure adherence to defined policies, practices and procedures
• Manage the employee Relations Division with all the management responsibilities linked to such a role

Requirements

• B Degree/Honours – Industrial Psychology/ Masters in HR/Industrial Psychology or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in relevant working experience in Human Resources as Business Partner Globally (National and International)
• Extensive and relevant working experience in Human Resources
• Demonstrated ability to contribute on a strategic level
• A commanding and thorough understanding of Human Resources practices, including world class Leadership, Organisation Development, Talent Management and Remuneration Practices, and associated applicants
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership and management skills
• Demonstrated outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Above –average planning and organising abilities
