Quantity Surveyor Needed in Kuwait

Skills Provision is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading and prominent company in the Middle East.

The Role

• Aid the estimating team in respect of risk analysis when tendering and negotiating contracts. Vetting contract and sub-contract agreements
• Advising upon contractual, financial, and legal issues during the currency of contracts
• Ensuring the projects are being carried timely completion within the budgets
• Ensuring project procurement procedures are adhered to
• Ensuring project staff exercises proper cost control.
• Preparation and submission of change orders on site.
• Preparation, submission, and negotiation of any contract claims
• Assisting project staff in finalising project accounts.
• Preparation and review of quarterly and yearly budgets in conjunction with senior management

Requirements

• Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Other professional qualifications are desirable
• IT literate
• Experienced user of related software
• A disciplined leader
• Hard working attitude
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Strong team member
