Quality Control Manager needed in Florida

Skills Provision is searching for a Quality Control Manager for a Medical Diagnostic Device company in the United States.

The Role

• You will be responsible for the analytical testing of finished disposable in-vitro diagnostic product and the meter testing. Incoming reagent and chemical materials as well as in process formulation will also be processed through this area.
• Oversee incoming manufacturing and lab area inspection, provide daily supervision and management of lab technicians and inspectors, develop departmental procedures and documentation to support quality systems.
• Manage non-conforming processes, lead quality improvement teams, work closely with manufacturing to ensure product quality, and lead internal audits.
• This position will report to and work closely with the Operations Manager.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of QA/QC supervisory experience within a medical device or pharma company.
• Experience overseeing all aspects of QA process from receiving inspection to final product release.
• Knowledge of validation requirements and process.
• Strong technical writing experience.
• Ability to use statistical techniques for data analysis.
• Experience with QC release testing.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines.
• Experience defining and tracking QA metrics and providing reports.
• Experience performing internal and supplier audits.
• Strong leader with a high level of integrity, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with evidence of ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Diagnostic experience with blood analysis devices using various materials desired.
