The Role

• Develop real-time embedded software for a range of radar sensors
• Capture and analyse the relevant software requirements
• Undertake software design tasks with the minimum of supervision
• Ensure software designs are fully suited to the target microprocessor platform
• Ensure verification of software designs against the software requirements

Requirements

• Educated to degree standard in relevant discipline
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good practical understanding of embedded software development methods and tools
• Real-time, embedded skills with hands-on debugging experience
• Experience in developing robust, real-time software for low-cost, high-volume manufacture
• Experience of verification techniques for real-time embedded software
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced working environment
• Experience in developing software for the automotive industry
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostic protocols
