IT Project Manager needed in Kenya

An opportunity for an IT Project Manager has become available for one of our Kenyan-based employers.

The employing company operates in the financial and insurance sector.

Salary & Benefits

• KES 780,000 p/m

The Role

• Lead, plan and manage various initiatives, driving forward the execution
• Provide guidance and direction to promote the development of viable project proposals for the development and/or acquisition of IT solutions to facilitate the success of business development
• Push forward the implementation of full software development cycles
• Securing resources from external sourcing as appropriate to ensure timely project completion according to agreed constraints
• Establishing a network of working relationships with global resource pool managers
• Maintaining a sound knowledge of trends in the Information Technology market and how emerging technologies can benefit the company.
• Ensure the company’s safety by checking risk management activities, working with leadership

Requirements

• 10 years of experience
• Bachelors degree
• Proven track record of major project delivery, business/enterprise knowledge, communication, planning and project management skills will also be required
• Superb client relationship skills
• Experience in the financial/insurance industry would be preferred
