Electrical Design Engineer Required in Slovakia

Skills Provision is searching for an Electrical Design Engineer for a company in Slovakia.

Our client is a manufacturer of sensors serving factory and industrial markets.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia

Salary & Benefits

• €38,600 p/a

The Role

• Develop, qualify, and release designs to meet marketing requirements.
• Work in a team environment with internal and external engineers of varied disciplines.
• Interface with other departments as well as management to sustain existing products and deliver new products to market.
• Apply sound electrical and electronic engineering principles and concepts to evaluate new designs for function and performance.
• Work with outside suppliers.
• Initiate, execute & review product changes.
• Develop assembly instructions.
• Provide continuous support for manufacturing and resolve complex electrical/electronic manufacturing issues.
• Enhance existing products, upgrade legacy products.
• Report to Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience.
• Strong background in design involving component selection, schematic capture and circuit board layout.
• Hands-on product prototyping (fabrication and assembly), testing, and troubleshooting.
• Development of products for ease of production-line test, assembly, and manufacture.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic environment with little supervision.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and/or control products a plus.
