Commissioning/Maintenance Engineer Required, UK

Our client is a UK based outfit operating within the Oil & Gas sector has an immediate need for a Commissioning/Maintenance Engineer for Control Systems.

The Role

As part of the Site Services team, it will be your role to perform/supervise the practical aspects of installation, modification, commissioning and maintenance of the companies’ products. You will be visiting sites across the UK, offshore and overseas as part of a team operating both internally and externally.

Requirements

• A solid technical background is required with specific bias towards the installation, commissioning & maintenance of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgear & Motor Control Centres and associated equipment.
• While you’ll have no regular reports, you may be required to lead the systems installation, commissioning & maintenance teams on a project-by-project basis.
• Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience of installation, commissioning and maintenance
• Good client facing skills are required, both in terms of understanding their requirements and responsive to their needs. Able to efficiently plan, prioritise and organist tasks to meeting deadlines and targets, solve problems with a results driven and proactive attitude.
• The job holder must be comfortable undertaking Health & Safety Work Method Statements & Risk Assessments, ensuring all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
