I have 31 years’ experience within the civilian and military aviation sector servicing as a watch manager and training officer on Cat 9, 10 airports. Due to my work experience I specialise in a working in hostile environments and have a vast amount of knowledge within the emergency service sector. I am an accomplished watch manager and fire instructor trainer and health and safety tutor holding senior fire officer position, management, adult education and a NEBOSH qualifications. I presently manage the Auckland International airport Industrial Fire Training Facility, dealing with up to 200 students a year and managing the CAPEX and OPEX for the department.  Responsible for Managing and undertaking all functions that are required to operate an efficient and effective training department

 Facilitating training for NZ and Pacific Island Airport Emergency services, petrochemical industry industrial ERT and Defence Fire Services.

 Constantly monitor training performance standards with regular assessments of personnel.

 Develop and delivery courses and modules which provide training and skills to meet CAR 139, NZFS Act, CAA & NZQA Standards.

 Actively encourage personal to improve their own personal development in fire fighting, fire safety, fire engineering and Health and Safety.

 Day to day management of the unit training facilities, plant and equipment, ensuring that compliance with environmental consents is maintained.
