RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Comprehensive understanding of road safety signs.
2. Loading and unloading goods onto a truck.
3. Ensuring a load is secure and that the weight is distributed properly on the truck.
4. Using standard vehicle equipment like tail lifts, pallet trucks and stillages.
5. Knowledge of Google Maps & other navigation systems.
6. Delivering goods to schedule and on time.
7. Knowledge of driving HGVs, LGVs and semi-trailers.
8. Inspecting a truck for mechanical defects prior to departure and also ensuring that the cargo is properly loaded &
secure.
9. Supporting company warehouse and shop floor staff when required to.
10. Completing all necessary administrative paperwork.
11. Ability to read maps & follow signals from a loading crew.
12. Filling in a truck inspection sheet.
13. Following established ISO quality operating procedures
