Previous Employment Details:

-DIESEL MECHANIC: Servicing, maintenance and breakdown recovery to Sandvik machines, which includes: = all drilling and supportive machines, Drill Rigs : DD 211 L, DD 211 LV (Axess Rigs), D2 211 (Roof bolts). = LHDs: LH 208, LH 410, LH 117 = Dump trucks TH 320

-Hydraulic Technician: Sites to include: 1) LaFarge - CAT loaders, excavators and dump trucks 2) Ngululu Bulk Carriers - Maintenance and repair of Liebherr front End loaders and other mobile equipment and light motor vehicles Adhere to safety regulations in entire work environment, workshop and client sites Attend to all Liebherr repairs and maintenance (all schedules including maintenance planning and daily inspections) Carry out support fleet repairs and maintenance Training of technicians

-Mechanic: Services and Maintanence to drill rigs and Roof bolters. To include but not limited : Rocket Boomers 281, 282, SDI SLI Mk3, Robolt 35

-Workshop Charge hand-Diesel Mechanic: -ensuring all machines are serviced and maintained according to OEM specifications. Machines included 8 ton Atlas Copco load, haul and Dump (LHDs), 15 ton Fermel dump trucks, scissor lifts roll on roll offs. 1 ton LDVs, 5 ton tipper trucks, 7 ton lorries and a cummins powered freightliner horse.
-carrying out major component changes and repairs in the workshop. e.g.
i) Replacing, adjusting and repairing axels – Spicer 112, Clark-Hurth 123, 176 and Kessler.
ii) Replacing and repairing brake heads, changing face seals, hub seals and wet brake discs.
iii)Replacing and repairing transmissions and torque converters.
iv) Servicing, carrying out adjustments and sub-assemblies on engines (6 cylinder inline water cooled Deutz and Cummins engines).
v) Diagnosing, trouble shooting and repairing hydraulic problems like tramming systems, drilling systems etc
-conducting daily Safety Meetings and allocation of jobs/tasks to the artisans. -over inspections of machinery to identify defects and possible failures in the mechanical and hydraulic components of trackless mobile mining machinery (TMMM or TM3)
-carrying out Planned Task Observations (PTOs) -ordering of Spares and Services.
-ensuring all tasks are carried out in a safe environment according to the Mine safe working procedures.

-Hydraulic Technician: carrying out scheduled oil and filter changes -setting valve clearance at 1000 hr. intervals
-carrying out minor repairs on the engine Hydraulics
- ordering of spares; carrying out over inspections and audits;
-fault finding and troubleshooting hydraulic problems
-carrying out route cause analysis
-removing and replacing hydraulic components e.g. hydrostatic pumps and motors; hydraulic cylinders, pumps, cartridge valves; solenoid valves.
-liaising with end users
-making sure all the drilling machines adhere to the required safety standards. Reason for leaving: Mine put on care and maintenance.

earthmoving and mining equipment to include LHDs (8 ton loaders), Dump Trucks (30 ton EJC),
Drill Rigs, Roof Bolters, UVs, LDVs ( Toyota Hilux, land cruisers)

-Diesel Mechanic: Scheduled oil and filter changes,
-fault finding and computer diagnosis using the STAR diagnostic machine,
-carrying out minor engine repairs and sub-assemblies on CAT, Cummins, Detroit and 4 and 6
cylinder Mercedes Benz ADE engines.
-carrying out brake overhauls, replacing brake shoes, discs, hub seals, slack adjusters.
-replacing and wheel bearings, leaf springs,
-attending to breakdowns and field services.
Reason for leaving: change of scope, to work on hydraulic powered underground drilling machines
