locations projects in the south of Kyrgyzstan .One located in the Malisu production field and the other the
Batken Exploration field, both in partnership with Santos Petroleum from Australia
Malisu field is currently been subcontrated to Drill Co for all the production and workover jobs.
Batken project on hold until the existing rig is upgraded according to Santos requirements in order to
Be able to face the severe working conditions of this particular area.
Supply Chain Manager 2004-2006
Tenaris, Steel Pipes Mill. Caspian Sea
Responsible for the construction, procurement, and management from the bidding phase of the first
thread repair shop ($2.5 million project). This is the first RS capable of threading CRA 28 and others in
the region with ranges from 2 3/8 inches to 7 inches in 2005 and up to 20 inches R#3 in 2006
(second phase). Served as coordinator based in Baku-Aktau of all the regional logistics for Tenaris
Pipe supplies to TCO, KCO, KPO, Kazgermunai, and others (200,000 tons/year OCTG and line pipe).
Responsible for managing regional pipe inspections and repairs in third parties RS facilities plus final
certification according to Tenaris standards.
Senior Logistics Manager for the 720 km LNG & NG pipe line project. 2003-2004
Techint Perú, Camisea Pipe Line – Pipe Line Constructions.
Responsible for all the planning, procurement, contractors sourcing, and safety supervision regarding air, land, and river transportation of 720km of 32-inch and 14-inch pipes plus 430 pieces of heavy equipment in a three-phase project (rain forest 220km, mountains 330km, and 170km seashore). Successfully reorganized the transportation in small barges of 28,000 tons of pipes through 330km of the Urubamba river, from Maldonadillo to the Malvinas base harbor in the Peruvian Amazonas rain forest. In coordination with the engineering department, upgraded the installation and administration of a storage station facility of 1.6 million gallons of diesel in the rain forest plus three other stations of 150,000 gallons each, alongside the double pipe line. Responsible for the planning of the first phase of the demobilization of the project which included the engineering of a temporary heavy equipment storage, cleaning, and repairs facility in Matarani Sea Port and the contract of warehouse facilities in Lima for the administration and storage of all of the 32 former temporary camps and installations. Logistics was the only area of the Camisea project which ended showing no significant deviations from the original budget and met all the planned goals in time.

Responsible for the South America Gas Fields Spare Parts Contracts regarding gas compressors and membranes for well-known companies like Repsol, Texaco, TGN, TGS, Perez Company, and Panamerican Oil. Contract and administrator manager for a $2.5 million membrane project in Neuquén Argentina for Texaco, provided by a major American supplier which included three local subcontracts for another $600,000.
Oilfield suppliers’ Area Manager for Central Asia 1996-2000
Safar Oilfield Services, Turkmenistan.
Responsible for the Central Asia region of the logistics and procurement for several major oilfield
operators like Exxon-Mobile, Patrons Carigali, Bridas Turkmenistan, Unocal, Monumet Oil, and well
known service companies as Halliburton, Schlumberger, Servoil, Nabors Drilling, etc. Established
warehousing and administration facilities according to western standards and developed new
transportation means which were part of the challenge of the region. After successful management, in
three years the company had two new logistics centers in Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan with a
significant increase of sales and new customers, more than three times as compared with the opening
of the operations in the region two years earlier.
Senior Logistics and Procurement Manager 1993-1996
Bridas Oil, Turkmenistan.
Senior Manager of Two joint ventures in Turkmenistan, which included Joint Venture Keimir on shore
production and J.V .Yashlar on shore gas exploration. These two projects ended in a $500 million
investment with more than 1,100 people working in the two fields. Responsible for all the engineered
and bulk purchases, local and international, including customs, expediting, inspection, and logistics of all major contracts from the bidding phase to the closeout and execution stages. Regional manager for all the logistics planning regarding suppliers, transportation, and services from abroad and inland. Warehouse administrator for both JVs with more than 15,.000 square meters of warehousing facilities all over Turkmenistan including three 100-cubic-meter storage tanks of oil in Okarem field and two million gallons of diesel distributed in three different points to minimize cost.
Responsible for the first succesful English –Spanish school for local workers and meddle staff as part of the training programe to develop local man power according to western standards.
