• Operating manual/ semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment as well as operating brazing and soldering equipment

• Operating metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines

• Repairing worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers, utilizing welding, brazing and soldering machines to perform a wide range of duties ensuring health, safety and environmental procedures are followed

• Setting up welding machines including spot, butt and seam resistance or gas welding machines to fabricate and repair metal parts and bonding metal parts, filling holes, indentations and seams of metal articles with solder

• Starting, shutting down, adjusting and monitoring robotic welding production line in addition to assisting with the maintenance and repair of welding, brazing and soldering equipment and working from various technical drawings

• Carrying out a range of work in accordance with work specifications including adjusting welding heads and tooling
