The main activity or focus is the maintenance repair and component rebuilds of all 793F, 789C Cat haul trucks, D11R Dozer power train components, 834H Wheel Dozer components, Cat Shovels 6050FS and 6030FS components, 993K and 994k Wheel loaders, 16H, 24H and 16M Graders.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform minor/major repairs on 793F/789C Haul trucks for our customer (OTML)
• Perform engine calibration, troubleshooting, testing and adjusting
• Perform component rebuilds on 793F/789C transmission, torque converters, differentials, final drives and wheel groups, accumulators, hydraulic cylinders.
• Perform component rebuilds on D11R transmissions, torque converters, differentials, hydraulic cylinders
• Perform component rebuilds on Cat 6050FS/6030FS hydraulic cylinders
• Supervise the workshop teams and assist in training and helping out apprentice
• Promote safety and guide workshop teams in complying with safety policies and procedures
• Leading the workshop team in getting the jobs done within the time frame and having a quality output.
• Perform final inspections and checks for all components going out of the workshop
• Perform final checks on all condition reports, teardown reports of all components and ordering parts.
