Project Director (January 2010 to February 2011)
“ASBAGA” Private Developer, Tripoli, Libya
I was appointed as Project Director, working on the “ASBAGA” Hotel & Apartment project in Tripoli. The scope included construction and full fit out and FF&E of 350 rooms and suites, 4 restaurants, coffee shop, meeting rooms, ball rooms for mixed use and all public areas.
 Responsible for overseeing the completion of the full interiors fit-out of all projects.
 Responsible for the administrative staff to follow directions for project bid out policies, including invitation to bid, insurance requirements and following up on sub-contractors proposals.
 Ensured continued daily communication with the CEO.
 Preparation of business plans and budgets with Business Development team;
 Supervision of logistic and construction phasing planning;
 Procurement of all equipment, materials and services, which form a part of the project requirements.
 Assisted in establishing short and long-term objectives with respect to existing and planned contractual obligations.

Executive Manager (June 2005 – December 2009)
DEPA Interior Dubai, UAE: DEPA UNITED GROUP,
I was appointed to assist the MD of Operations New Markets for MENA.
 Responsible for overseeing the completion of the full interiors fit-out of all projects.
 Areas of development include, but not limited to, brand name hotels, interior and exterior renovation of shopping centers, Airports.
 Accountable for Business development; orchestrates on-going projects focusing in the hotels and luxury sector of name brand hotels including Burj El Arab, Fairmont, Four season and Burj Dubai.
 Raise the profile of our client Interior Fit out company in the local UAE market to be known as a high quality design and build company of choice.

SAUDI GROUP: Al MUNTASER Construction, Marbella, Spain
Assigned to the following projects with a budget of 80 million Euros:
 Lead the overall management team on two projects:
 A construction of 45 villas and 7 residential buildings on the golf course of Guadalmina, Marbella, Spain. Also the renovation of the Cristamar Mall including
 A gymnasium, spa, restaurants and retails stores in Puerto Banus, Marbella, Spain.
 Manage the overall Business and Marketing plan.
 Develop sales plans, identify prospects, organize proposals and negotiate pricing with key customers to ensure profitable business for the company.
 Forecast the sales volume accurately and achieve pre-set monthly targets in order to optimize production planning, reduce costs and ensure on time and in full product delivery.
 Identifying partnership opportunities for growth and expansion of the Company’s operation as per strategic plan.
 Development Managers to identify attractive opportunities for real estate development and/or land acquisition in the target market.
 Evaluate new projects and investment proposals and develop structured business cases for identified projects in consultation with heads of key departments such as Finance & Legal, Project Services and Strategy.

Project Manager (April 1999 – December 2001)
Groupe Bolloré: SDV USA, Texas, USA
 Coordinated the freight of the entire projects, from the client’s worldwide suppliers for export to final destinations (trucking, air, and sea shipments).
 Secured a three years transport and logistics contract with BHP through active business development techniques.
 This is SDV’s first contract with BHP. Budget of the contract 80 Million dollars per year.
 Defined roles and responsibilities for each project to strengthen communication between the SDV offices.
 Gathered information and assessed market opportunities in North Africa and the Middle East.
 Successfully dealt with all issues related to documentation, customs, financial concerns which potentially impact on product and equipment deliveries. Responsibilities include proper knowledge in freight forwarding international laws.
• Managed and developed two international projects total over $30 million
• Managed the overall Procurement and Logistics for all the projects.
• Managed the BHP account, which included the BHP Copper’s Tintaya and the BHP Copper’s Escondida projects. Project volume exceeded 500,000 freight Tons from various countries

 Responsibilities were oversight of operations of a transportation company specializing in expedited services, trucking, air and ocean freight forwarding.
 Negotiated long-term agreements and programs with key airlines and shipping agencies.
 Analyzed various types of product and equipment moves and suggested most cost effective and efficient solution for transport.
 Coordination of pre-shipment inspections and pickups of equipment by various means to meet multiple deadlines. Responsibilities include proper knowledge in freight forwarding international laws.
