East Brae Gas/Oil Production Platform. Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician. Seconded to East Brae project 1992. From Brae B. Based in Aberdeen, supervision and evaluation of electrical planned and standard maintenance procedures. Onshore site visits to construction and commissioning yards to finalise procedures. Offshore, Hook-up and commissioning. Duties included Electrical Area-Authority, issuing of Permit to Work to construction, commissioning and maintenance offshore departments. Offshore, planned and breakdown maintenance of all electrical equipment ranging from 33kV through to 250V. Demonstration of emergency electrical equipment to Lloyds Register, for Certification of Fitness. P.L.C. based Power Management System maintenance and fault diagnostic. Stand-in maintenance supervisor's duties. Control of maintenance schedules technicians and vendors.

Brae B Gas/Oil Production Platform. Onshore commissioning of generation, UPS and associated electrical equipment. Liaising with vendors and engineering departments including certification, inspection and construction. Offshore. Hook-up and commissioning. Liaising between operations and hook-up Departments for the Commissioning and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment. Offshore. Planned and Breakdown Maintenance of all Electrical equipment from 33kV through to 250V. Demonstration of Emergency Electrical Equipment to Lloyds Register for Certification Of Fitness.
