I am fully responsible for the day to day running of a very busy and demanding transport department. Managing 30 drivers and driver’s mates, dealing with daily late production or plant breakdowns on a daily adhoc basis in an ever changing business requires instant decision making and forward thinking and Planning.

Working with Hotels and restaurants this is a very much a time/pressure working environment in a saturated market place, maintaining excellent service levels is key in this sector.

– Fleet Management, Managing vehicle inspection schedules, Vehicle servicing and tail-lift inspections, dealing with the day to day vehicle issues including vehicle breakdowns, accidents and vehicle defects.

-Effectively keeping vehicle records stored and maintained in a robust system ready for inspection or scrutiny by enforcement officers.
