Develop execution plan for the long term preservation of all equipment and materials during the construction and commissioning of the mine relocation.

Develop preservation matrix for equipment and tasks for upload into Orbit mechanical completion programme.

Manage the construction personnel with respect to equipment and material preservation.

Ensure construction contractors have the correct project vendor recommended preservation information.

Monitor / audit contractor preservation records to verify timeliness.

Monitor / audit actual field preservation activities.

Assures the correct lubricants, oils and preservatives are used and handled correctly and safely.

Inspect all vessels and transformers have the required inert gas blanket as required by vendor.

Inspect stored materials to ensure correct preservation and weatherproofing has been implemented.
