Since 2012 we have deployed more than £130 million into the agricultural sector including development of 75MW of solar PV and 30MW of Biomass across 179 packaged plant rooms into 248 buildings.

Energy-Efficient Agricultural Buildings:

 Lead designer of energy-efficient poultry sites incorporating a range of technologies including biomass, solar, rainwater harvesting, ventilation systems and sizing of these accordingly.

 Complete scheme design in liaison with clients including detailed layouts, 3D modeling and HD renders suitable for lease and planning documentations.

 Project delivery management through the design and planning process dealing with a range of consultants and the local authority (100% approval rate).

 Producing “Designs of the Future” and generating innovation in the industry.

Biomass:

 Survey, design, construction and operation of one of the largest commercial biomass boiler rollouts ever (30MW, 179 packaged plant rooms servicing 248 poultry houses).

 Completed all Renewable Heat Incentive applications

 Produced planning drawing packs including site layout plans, 2D elevational drawings, boiler schematics, 3D models, HD renders and flyover videos.

 Detailed site surveys to aid optimal boiler sizing and housing design.

 Developed GIS mapping systems to assist business development team to find suitable sites for large scale solar PV developments.

 Produced drawings suitable for leases, exclusivity agreements and planning applications based on measurements performed on site visits.

 Assessed suitability of sites based on access, water, gas and grid locations as well as flood risk plans.

 Produced 2D and 3D modeling of sites, including shading analyses for solar irradiation levels.

 Applied for grid applications and main liaison with Distribution Network Operators.

Wind:

 In addition to the same activities as for solar farms, GIS mapping of important wind criteria such as NATS data and NOABL wind speeds for use in identifying new sites.
