Employment History

October 2010 – Present:
Construction Manager for ATS Group Abu Dhabi, UAE

Construction Manager, leading to my current role as Implementation Manager onshore/offshore division, responsible for the implementation and delivery of all civil works, Infrastructure and finishing works on several projects.

I’m responsible for all health and safety on site, supervision and coordination of site activities, delivery and ordering of materials, the workforce, plant/vehicles and generators. Supervising concrete works, installation and maintenance. Managing client expectations while staying on schedule and within budget.

December 2009 – July 2010:
Construction Manager for Wrights ADSF Abu Dhabi, UAE

Zayed University Convention Centre: RC frame construction, responsible from pile caps, raft foundations, basement, columns, lift shafts, staircases, beam work and steel for the slabs, also ensuring the concrete pours were satisfactory and finished to the standards expected. In charge of 180 men, all trades, reporting to my Contracts manager on a daily basis.

May 2008 – July 2009:
Site Manager for Murray & Roberts (Middle East) Kingdom of Bahrain

Salam Resort: 710,000 square metre development located on the south coast of Bahrain. Responsible for coordinating the workforce involved in the construction of the centre core of RC concrete frame of the 288 key 5 star hotel. Responsible from pile caps, raft foundations, columns, staircases, lift shafts, slabs. Quick stage false work was used extensively and RMD aluminium backed timber shuttering.

June 2007 – May 2008:
Construction Superintendent for Murray & Roberts (Middle East) Dubai, UAE

Dubai International Airport T3: Responsible for the delivery/fit out of all finishing works to the back of house amenities, offices, arrivals, medical rooms, prayer rooms, toilet blocks , including MEP works , services within the new airport concourse building. Also Involved Liaising daily with my team of carpenters, tilers, masons, labourers and foremen to ensure work is being carried out to the standards required by Middle East regulations, also ensuring deadlines are being met as set out by the company.

February 1998 – May 2007:
Site Manager United Kingdom

Various Projects throughout the UK, residential properties including new build, high rise apartments, fit outs/finishing and refurbishments, luxury homes in Yorkshire stone, fast track affordable housing, apartment blocks.
