NATURE OF JOB :

At present I am working with ESP TEAM since2001 as ESP Team Leader AFPC Syria. Have a team of 2 supervisor,4 Snr technician and 8 technicians who report to me directly

Also have trainees. As part of my responsibilities .I have carried out training of operators to carry out starts on ESP systems. (Level 1 & level 2) The work involves a considerable amount of driving around 8000 Km per month.

I worked with the following ESP systems, VSD Speed Star 200/ 400 KVA, Toshiba P2 VSD 600 KVA & fact PAC’s, Yaskawa P7 & G5- Subcoe VSD, 600 KVA Centrilift VSD (GCS) & switch boards . these drives are located over a very large geographical area.

I have been the company expert on REDA & Centrilift equipment where all trouble shooting duties in the field have been carried out mainly by myself.

This has included fault finding in Inverter drives , filters and HV equipment associated with the REDA VSD’s Fault finding on ESP down hole equipment

Including analyzing data from well site such as flow Pump inlet pressure, Flowing tubing head pressures and checking performance of units against the well site data this also includes checking pump curves and motor parameters.

I have suggested and implemented improvements for the running of ESP’s

Checks ESP down hole strings before send it to well site.

Arrange with rig company man for work over crow & start up, Commissioning of new installations VSD & Switch board.

Operation of PLC interface board and drive PLC set up configurations and change parameters for VSD ,Toshiba P2 , GCS. &WSP VSD

Use of computer to set up the drive PLC 450 DL for Toshiba P2 drive 600 KVA, GCS centrilift VSD, subcoe VSD

As ESP field service Engineer in heavy oil filed north Syria (Tishreen field) my Job (startup commissioning, troubleshooting, and failure analysis) for the wells and dealing with SLB for selecting down hole equipment and surface unite, setup drives tie in power supply to transformer and drive, also fallow all PCP & Beam pump activity .

From 2007 up to 2008: ESP Team leader in AFPC (shell group)

• Responsible for all wells related activities including rig handover and well start up. , commissioning, troubleshooting

• Supervise the Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintaining

• Preparations of work over operations. (well test & well completion )

• Diagnoses problems and recommends or implements appropriate solutions for surface problems including electrical problems, sand production, gas-locking pumps and insufficient fluid production.

• Review Safety, Health and Environment (HSE) Plans, including Hazard Identification Plan and Job Safety Analysis. Safety inspections of Storage facilities and construction site to detect and correct unsafe practices and conditions.

• Maintain record of ESP wells monitoring and commissioning.

• Co-ordinates ESP wells data base and keeps updated.

• Co-ordinates ESP training within operations field staff. (Level 1 &2)

• Checks calculation required surface voltage, designates proper transformer, sets up surface equipment and insures system safety devices are installed and functioning. Starts and monitors voltages, amperage and production rates. Sets operating parameters on surface controller.
