Responsibilities

– Plan for purchasing process of raw materials with production department.

– Request quotations from different approved suppliers and negotiating with them to reach the best prices and payment terms.

– Issue purchase orders on the ERP system based on the best offers.

– Follow up shipments with freight forwarders (courier, air, sea).

– Request needed clearance documents from suppliers.

– Follow up supplier’s payments with accounting department.

– Monitor stock level of raw materials to determine the slow moving and overstock items to take actions.

– Source new raw materials for R&D and requesting samples for evaluation

– Define new raw materials and new suppliers on the ERP system.

– Evaluate suppliers according to ISO instructions.

– Source new suppliers for the existed raw materials to assure continuous availability and cost reduction.
