Qualifications

 Post Graduate Program in Construction Management from NICMAR (National Institute of Construction management) – School of Distance Education during March’2011.

 Bachelor of Civil Engineering from M.S.Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore with First Division during the year July 2003 to June 2007.

 Currently working as Quantity Surveyor with Systech (a unit of MASCO – Mohammed Ali Al Swailem Company) – Riyadh, KSA
Since April’2013.

 

 Worked as Jr. Quantity Surveyor with Mfar Constructions Pvt Ltd (a unit of Galfar – Oman) & Raheja Group
From January 2011 to January 2013.

 

 Worked as Site Engineer – Project coordinator with N. Varadharaj Engineers & Contractors
From September 2008 to December 2010.

 

 Worked with Maytas Properties Limited, Hyderabad, India with the Quality Enhancement & Assurance Team
From July 2007 to August 2008

Roles & Responsibilities

 Taking off quantities from architectural and structural drawings of all the activities involved till completion of project from start of project at planning stage.

 Preparing material reconciliation statement.

 Preparation & checking of Bar Bending schedule, material reconciliations, material requirement planning, Work Orders, Job Orders etc.

 Liaise/coordination between client, contractors, architects & others consultants, coordinating construction processes & activities.

 Monitor and measure actual quantities of key materials as they are being used and prepare a weekly report reflecting output.

 Prepare cash flows & generate periodic revenue statements. Cross checking and verifying the variances and changes in comparison with original contract requirements and conditions. Ascertaining value of variations in project work.

 Certify progress claims including managing the payments for subcontractors and suppliers including allocating works to subcontractors.

 Sub-Contractor bill preparation & checking, Weekly Progress updation and monthly Costing sheet preparation and percentage completion.

 Cross checking and forwarding RA bills and Final bills along with deviation statements to the clients.

 Preparing monthly payment applications for appropriate material and labor quantities.

 Coordinate with Site Discipline Engineers and Inspectors to measure the works conducted by the Contractor for interim payment.

 Monitor the Contractors progress made against the contract program and note shortfalls.

 Review the program for future work with the Contractor, initiate action to avoid foreseeable delays and consider the feasibility of altering the program.

 Prepare the final account for the project and financial statements of the project as and when required by the Client.

 Assist in developing the job budget based on contract documents and certifying progress claims and invoices.

 Planning & Scheduling, preparing periodic reports, updating of day to day status, labour, material & cost planning & streamlining critical paths etc using Microsoft Project 2007 & Primavera P6.

 Aligning Project work scope with company structured Work Breakdown Structure.

 Preparing work schedules in consultation with Engineering, Projects, Procurement & other related departments.

 Develop & maintain planning and cost reporting systems – Review of project master plan and revised programs.

 Monitor Project Progress status vs. scheduled & Prepare MIS reports.
