Professional EXPERIENCE

Worked as NDT Multi Technician in Global Marine & Technical Services, Kakinada during the period of August 2013 to Till Date.

Clients:

• M/S Cairn Energy India Ltd, Kakinada
• M/S Reliance Industries Ltd, Kakinada

Duties Performed:

• Ultrasonic weld scanning for ship structural and pipe welds, refinery weld seam   joints for pipes and structural fillet welds, lifting tackles weld seams etc.
• Performing Ultrasonic Inspection on Boiler weld joints & reactors.
• Performing UT on T, K, Y joints of rig structures.
• Performing Ultrasonic longitudinal beam examination for plates.
• Performing Ultrasonic thickness gauging for in-service pipes.
• Performing Lamination checks on beams and plates.
• Responsible for corrosion and erosion monitoring by Ultrasonic testing of various units during shut down.
• Performing Radiographic film interpretation as per applicable code.
• Performing Radiography on Tankages, Piping works, Boiler piping, Pressure vessel.
• Tanks at additional tank age facilities for ammonium columns, heat exchangers, nuclear boxes, ellipsoidal, nozzle to flange butt welds, LPG storage spheres.
• Low dia piping for submarine and naval ship maintenance at Naval Dockyard.
  • X-ray and Gamma radiography works for pipelines whenever required.
  • Magnetic particle inspection by yoke method for structural and pipe weld joints   and interpretation.
  • Performing dye penetrant (visible and fluorescent method) as per client requirement and job requirement.
  • Visible Dye Penetrant & Fluorescent Dye Penetrant testing of in service pipelines in of cooling tower in HPCL.
  • Fluorescent penetrant testing of several equipment in Nuclear Power Plant like turbine blades, cooler pipes, shielding plates, safety valves. etc.,
