Job Responsibilities:

 To lead the EPCC Projects/Proposals for Basic/Detailed Engineering

 Responsible for performing and leading in engineering analyses, technical reviews and calculations

 Plans, lead, and manage Process engineering activities associated with the assigned capital projects over total project life from inception to utilization.

 Coordinate and collaborate with other team members, including engineering Sub-contractors and Process Technology partner to provide high quality Process deliverables at each phase of the project.

 Technical bid evaluation of quotes received from different vendors and selection of process packages for installation, Investigate and ensures that licensor specifications are in line with the design intent

 Review of PFDs/P&IDs for early and central production facilities of Oil and gas

 Process Design/Review of Two/three phase separators, Knock Out drums, Control valves, Heat exchangers, PSVs etc

 Preparation and review of all general process documents such as Process Simulation, Process Design Criteria, RFQS, Material Selection Philosophy, Utility and Site conditions, Isolation Philosophy, Equipment list, Utility Consumption List, operation and control philosophy, C&E matrix etc.

 Development of Oil and gas Central Production Facilities for MOL Pakistan (PFDs and P&IDs reviews, Rating of Shell & Tube Heat exchangers, prepared the Operation & Maintenance manual for all utilities along with inlet separation system)

 Adhi LPG/NGL Recovery Plant III for PPL Pakistan (Process Simulation, Material selection Study, Review of Vendor Quotes, Preparation of datasheets, Sizing of vessels, Preparation of equipment list, Design basis, RFQs, PFDs and P&IDs reviews, reports, etc.)

 Involved in troubleshooting and on site modifications during commissioning of Ammonia plant and monitored the Ammonia plant PGTR after revamp.

 Installation of high pressure natural gas pipeline for bypassing natural gas compressor at Ammonia plant that resulted in saving of US$ 1.08 million per annum.

 Proposed and executed successfullythe recovery of condensate (about 32-40 MT/hr) from secondary reformer jacket at ammonia plant and PCT drain at urea plant.

 Performed Risk Assessment, HAZOP studies of ammonia plant modifications.

 Impact of Reducing Steam to Carbon Ratio in Reforming Section of Ammonia Plant, an optimization study to improve plant performance (Developed Process Simulation for Front End section of Ammonia Plant using Aspen Hysys. Checked the impact of various steam to carbon ratio on Methane conversions in Primary as well as Secondary Reformers along with Heat Load of CO2 removal section).
