Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Al-Ahlia Boxes Industry Co., Hebron, Palestine.
08/2013 to present

Upon commencement of my employment with Al-Ahlia boxes industry, I conducted an examination of the mechanical and electronic equipment and commenced maintenance of all relevant machinery using my expert skills and knowledge. The company was reliant on external maintenance engineers; I managed to reduce the cost quite significantly saving the company large sums of money to utilize elsewhere within the organization. I worked alongside experts from Germany to assemble and operate a new “KBA RAPIDA 106” sheetfed offset press machine. I found this experience extremely useful and gained further knowledge.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Managing troubleshooting from initiation to completion.

• Conduct regular maintenance on all equipment.

• Assist in designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.

• Diagnosing and fixing breakdown problems.

• Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.

• Checking and calibrating instruments to make sure they are accurate.

• Liaising with Managers regularly with relevant progress on equipment.
