1. Job title: Process Operator:

• Crude oil plant operator: (separation and stabilization).

 Startup and shutdown according to the instructions, safety orders and procedures.

 Common control and check of crude oil processing train’s equipment including: two-phases/three-phases separators, desalters, exchangers, column, heater, rundown coolers and dosing pumps (desemulsifier injection skid).

 Participate in shutdown activities by preparing equipment for maintenance and start up after work commencement and completion.

 Carry out and ensure all works are performed in accordance with established safety rules and regulations.

 Data collection of parameters such as: pressure, temperature, level and flow rates in hourly basic through outside rounds of crude oil train process equipment.

• Gas process operator: (Process gas compressors).

 Startup and shutdown according to the instructions, safety orders and procedures.

 Maintain properly suitable control and check of the process gas centrifugal compressors marked DRESSER-RAND including lube oil and seal gas system.

 Remote control of the compressors from the supervisory HMI.

• LACT metering and fiscal export process operator:

 Startup and shutdown according to the instructions, safety orders and procedures.

 Common control and check of the streams including the storage area (Booster pumps and main centrifugal pumps driven by 5.5 KV electrical motors).

 Monitor the storage stabilized oil tanks and measurements.

 Participate in shutdown activities and maintenance by preparing equipment for isolation, shutdown and start up after work commencement and completion

 Carry out and ensure all work is performed in accordance with established safety rules and regulations

 Two hours outside round for storage area equipment inspection with reading parameters records (pressure, temperature, level and flow rates).

 LACT metering plant:

 Daily check task of parameters and mechanical counters provided by OMNI system.

 Weekly prove operation of the streams.

 Ensure the sample system normal run and bring the samples to the laboratory.

 Remote controls of the plant throw the supervisory computers using the IFIX and TP6000

systems controller provided by EMERSON.

• SCADA HMI operator:

 Remote control of production wells, gas injection wells, water injection wells and water source

wells as per schedule and production requirements.

 Wells remote shutdown and parameters monitoring (flow line pressure, flow line temperature, well head pressure, well head temperature, gas lift pressure, gas lift flow rate, well status, FGSS and satellite wells).

2- Job title: Panel Operator:

The role is principally consisting of operating the DCS (Distributed Control System EMERSON Delta V from the CCR for all plants’ startup, shutdown and maintaining their normal running conditions according to trends, alarms logs and customer requirements.

 Oil treatment (Separation and stabilization) plant:

 Operate the oil/gas separators (bi and tri-phases).

 Operate the oil stabilization unit including the stabilizer heater, column and rundown coolers.

 Operate the flare systems minimizing wastage of gas where possible.

 Control the operation of the drains systems.

 Operate the produced water system.

 Control the operation of the API separator system.

 Request and co-ordinate any maintenance works on the area through the supervisor instructions.

 Maintain a log of all process plant operations and handover to the oncoming shift.

 Assist in controlling any emergency situations on the facility.

 Co-ordinate with laboratory technicians to ensure safe and accurate production specifications.

 Injection and Gas process compression plant:

 Operate the Process Gas Compressor.

 Operate the Injection Compressor.

 Carry out routine checks and record the status of all equipment.

of the dry gas and the lean glycol.

 Fuel Gas distributed system:

 Operate the fuel gas distribution area in safe manner to ensure the providing of FG to the heaters, turbines and flares.

 Take corrective actions in case of emergency (start up and shutdown).

 Co-ordinate with the laboratory technicians to ensure accurate FG analyses.

 Fire and gas system control located in the CCR:
