I am working with the Fuel and Energy Department.


Responsibilities:

• Maintenance troubleshooting and overhauling of Diesel Generators, Various types of Engines mostly made of Cummins & Caterpillar & locomotives.
• Maintenance of Rotary & stationary equipment.
• Engineering drawing, plan, commissioning of pipeline.
• Maintenance and Operation of gas pipe line of length spread more than 140 kilometres, carrying Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Propane, Carbon Monoxide used as a fuel for the Internal customers.
• Radiography, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Dye Penetrate Testing, Ultrasonic thickness
• Shutdown planning and manpower planning.
• ŸStandard Operating Procedure preparation.
• ŸMaintenance and inspection of Pumps, Gearboxes, Couplings, Fans, Compressors, Blowers etc.
• ŸHydraulics and pneumatics system maintenance.
• ŸPipe pickling and cleaning.
• ŸHot tapings, pipeline layout pigging and inspection.
• ŸPressure Vessel inspection, pressure testing and maintenance, Valves maintenance.
• ŸTraining, Safety audits, Inspection before performing any task related to our concern.
• Provided technical advice to the team as well as to our sub contractors.
• Pipeline layout drafting and modification and Implementation.
• Making graphs using the Quality tools Pareto, Histogram, and Standard Deviation respect to the Annual Business Plan. KPI, CP, CPK etc.
• Spares planning, Inspection of pipelines, TPM, TQM, Daily Management, Fuel supply and consumptions monitoring through SCADA HMI.
• Co-ordinate and plan for our Departmental ABP and synchronize it with our Company's ABP.
• Developed Suppliers and Contractor's relationships.
  

• A beneficial project on LD Gas recovery system which improved the amount of gas being recovered from the steel making process.
• ŸBest suggestion award from our MD, as a member of SGA (small group activities).

• Our customers are top leading companies which are using Cummins power generators for as a back up and primary power source.
• Maintenance of Cummins Diesel Engines and as well as the electrical parts of Caterpillar, Mahindra, Eicher, MwM and electrical alternators in our Annual Maintenance Contracts and Cummins Maintenance Contracts.
• Spares planning.
• Worked in the Manufacturing Assembly line of Cummins Engines.
• Dg sets, Compressors, Earth Moving Equipment, Mining Equipment installation, inspection, troubleshooting, overhauling and commissioning.
• Imparting trainings among the technicians and co-workers.
• PLC, PCC, ECM calibration using software tools.
• Electrical Alternators commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Work Experience of more than 2 years on the field service, customer service and support, service on call, troubleshooting, overhauling engines on the need, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, quarterly auditing, involvement in sales also
• Have excellent knowledge on Cummins, Kirloskar, Mahindra, TATA Diesel Engines used with compressors, POWER GENERATION DG set & Earth Moving Equipments (4 cylinder engines up to 16 cylinder engines – 3 KVA up to 3MW DG Generators).
• Inspection, Health Check-up’s, Warranty Inspection, Failure Analysis, Overhauling, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of Diesel Engines.
