 Daily functional reporting on his responsibilities and any quality issues to assigned Project QA/QC Manager.

 Arranges in coordination with Project QA/QC Manager, and site personnel procedures, manuals and reports.

Mar 12 – Till date : ALLSEAS Engineering, Netherland

Position: Lead QA/QC Structural/Piping/Coating/NDE

Project Assignment : Assigned to Pieter Schelete project, its 382 m long, 117 m wide dynamically positioned (DP) platform installation / decommissioning and pipe lay vessel, at the Korean shipyard Daewoo, OKPO (DSME). During construction and fabrication of sub assembly, grand assembly, blocks, Frames, TLS, JLS & transom monitoring, inspection at DSME and their sub-contractor facilities.

Feb 10 – Feb 12 : Det Norske Veritas, Abu Dhabi

Position: QA / QC Engineer

Project Assignment : Assigned to NDC, National Drilling Company, Abu Dhabi, for rig construction project in BOMCO, China, Baoji. During construction and fabrication of Masts, Substructure, Frames, Draw work skids, Casting & Forgings on their workshop. Responsible for various inspection jobs material receiving inspection, reviewing contractor quality control procedures, NDT procedures, welding procedures and Inspection Test Plan.

Oct 06 – Jan 10 : Maersk Oil Qatar, Abu Dhabi

Position: Senior QA / QC Inspector

Project Assignment : Assigned to Al Shaheen, Block # 5 existing & FDP-2005 facilities project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. NPCC is the EPC contractor for Maersk Oil Qatar. During construction and fabrication of Jackets, Bridges, Platforms and piping fabrication on their workshop. Responsible for various inspection jobs material receiving inspection, reviewing contractor quality control procedures, NDT procedures, welding procedures and Inspection Test Plan.

Main Tasks:

Review of Integration Contractor fabrication records for Jacket, Topsides, Bridges & Piping assembly.

Undertake Hold, Witness, Review and Monitor points as identified in ITPs.

Submit weekly report to Project Quality Manager.

Jan. 04 to Mar. 04 : Assigned as QC Inspector (Welding / Painting & Coating) on NPCC Offshore project (ADMA-OPCO Project # 2106) in DLB 750 at Umm Shaif field for the replacement of 24” W.I.Lines from USSC to US23A & US12A at well head tower and complex, Abu Dhabi. Responsible of various inspections during installing Riser, Tie-in spool & Sub sea spool. Checking of Bevel preparation, Fit-up, Weld parameters and Consumable. Witnessing of NDT (UT, RT, MT & PT), Viewing radiograph films. Prior to painting of support structure and riser clamps checking humidity, surface preparation, surface temperature, profile check, DFT measuring of each coat. Oct. 03 – Nov. 03 : Assigned as QC Inspector (Welding & Painting) in TOTAL FINA ELF / GMMOS (Dubai), TOTAL FINA ELF / MIS (Sharjah). Carried out inspection activities of piping & structural. Review of WPS & QC procedures. Review welder qualification records. Visual inspection of welding. Inspection of load out materials. Witnessing hydro testing of piping. Review of MTC, PWHT reports & NDT reports. Daily documentation reports review and final documentation.

July 03 – Sep. 03 : Assigned as QC Inspector (Welding and Painting ) on NPCC Offshore project (Total Fina Elf, Project # 2050) in HLS 2000 at Alkhalij Northern area development field, Qatar. Responsible of various inspections during installing the jacket, deck platforms, pile, conductor piles, shim plate, deck to jacket joints like checking the bevel preparation, fit-up check, visual inspection of welding joints. Monitoring weld parameters and consumables. Witnessing of NDT, wrapping and coating. Conducting the holiday test for the wrapping on the field weld joints.

Mar. 03 – Apr. 03 : Assigned to SBM as a QC/Welding Inspector for SBM offshore project. Project: SBM-Single Buoy Mooring (White Rose Turret Project). Responsible for various inspection jobs during fabrication, welding and construction of turret, buoy gantry structures, piping spools and tanks. Activities include but not limited to the following: fit-up check, welding parameter and consumable check, visual inspection and endorsement of completed joints for N.D.T. Witnessing of dimension check & hydro test. Check material traceability.

July 02 – Jan. 03 & May 03 – June 03 : Assigned to NPCC / NSQ yard in Queshm, Iran. SHELL – Soroosh and Nowrooz Integrated Development project as a QC / Welding Inspector for Shell project (Job # 111 and Job # 1172). Responsible for various inspection job during fabrication welding and construction of piping spools, talks and pressure vessel. Activities include but not limited to the following fit-up check, welding parameters and consumable check, visual inspection and endorsement of completed joints for N.D.T. Witness dimension check, leak test of reinforcing pad and hydro testing of pressure vessels and tanks. Check material tracebility, prepare punch list. Prepare and submit Manufacturer’s Data book for client and shell approval.

Jan. 02 – May 02 : Black Cat Constructions, Qatar.

Position: QC / Welding Inspector.

Project Assignment: Qatar Petroleum, Dukhan, Qatar. Flare Line upgrade project in Dukhan field areas. (Khatiya North, Khatiya South, Fahaheel North, Fahaheel South, Jaleeha and ARAB – D). Responsibilities: Interpretation of Drawings. Witnessing and interpretation of NDT, Hydro test / Post Weld Heat Treatment. Approval WPS and PQR. Visual check up pipes of standard size for the edge preparation. Monitoring weld parameters before welding and during the process preheating, baking electrodes, voltage and amperage as per WPS. Welder performance qualification test, Visual examination of fit-up, over all examination of the weld for any under cuts, arc strike, slag, etc.

May 01 – Nov 01 : AIB – Vincotte International, Qatar.

Position: Plant / NDT Inspector

Project Assignment: Qatar General Petroleum Corp, Dukhan, Qatar. Responsibilities: Interpretation of drawings and preparing ISO. Visual inspection of external parts of pipelines, vessels, columns, supports and structures for corrosion. UT scanning for all pipelines, vessels and columns. Co-ordination for thickness survey. Interpretation of radiographic films (profile radiograph). Profile radiography for the elbows, tees, reducers, vents and trains for the corrosion survey.

Mar. 01 – May 01 : AIB – Vincotte International, Muscat, Oman.

Position: QC / Welding Inspector

Project Assignment: Oman Refinery Company, Muscat. Responsibilities: Visual Inspection of external parts & Internal parts of piping, heat exchanger, vessels, columns, reactor, tanks, boiler tubes, furnace tubes and spheres for any corrosion. Hydro test and pneumatic for the tube leakage and tube joint leakage’s. Stage wise inspection of retubing. If tubes are to be replaced. NDT Inspection of Boiler tubes, furnace tubes & sphere using UTG, HT, MT, PT and Replica test.

May 98 – Dec. 00 : International Inspection Center, Kuwait.

Position: Welding / NDT Inspector

Project Assignment: Al Kulaib International Trading Co. W.L.L.

Responsibilities: Interpretation of Drawings and making hold points. Witnessing and interpretation of NDE. Witnessing Hydro test. Approval of WPS and PQR. Visual Check up of welded joints and pipes for the edge preparation. Monitoring weld parameters before welding and during the process. Preheating, Baking electrodes, Voltage and Amperage as per WPS. Post weld heat treatment as per procedure. Welder performance qualification test. Checking the fit-ups. Overall examination of the weld for any undercuts, arc strikes, slag etc. Wrapping and coating as per procedure & checking the wrapping and coating by holiday detector. Final documents preparation and Punch list.

Position: Multi Discipline Inspector

Project Assignments: Various inspections carried out for the following clients.
