Description: The project includes two BMS system. The 1st BMS system includes FAT which was done remotely from India. For BMS 2 the FAT and SAT was done at the Honeywell site and at British Petroleum site.

Job: Logic development in SFC.

Software used: RS logix 5000, GEMS code manager

Description: This project includes development of development of logic in SFC. The task defines phases and according to phases the logic has to be developed. The Control modules are generated using GEMS. The project was commissioned successfully and achieved best performance award for the project.

Project work

ME project

• “Multi-parameter measurement using a cascaded FBG system”: Worked in a group of two and an advisor Dr.S.k.Ghorai. In this project, a cascaded Fibre Bragg Grating system was realized which will measure three parameters i.e. strain, temperature and curvature. An embedded structure was developed as a prototype to test the FBG system. The composite was prepared using Hand lay- up and Vacuum technique. The structures were mounted on a UTM machine and applied load upto 400kgs which corresponds to 25000 micro-strain. The results were recorded in OSA which was remotely placed 1km away from UTM machine. The temperature measurement was performed by putting LPG in a hot water bath and the corresponding signals were recorded in OSA. Transfer matrix method was used to get the reflection and transmission spectra.
