Key Attributes:

I am an outstanding team player, who understands the time critical importance when working in the field of pre-hospital care, currently working as part of an armed security team in Iraq, where I am responsible for the security of clients and their medical requirements in the pre-hospital setting. I am an extremely self-motivated individual with exceptional supervisory and leadership qualities who enjoys working as an individual and as part of a team. I am experienced in working under particularly stressful and time critical conditions, often life threatening. I am a calm, methodical person who always endeavours to deliver to the best of my ability. I am experienced in multi-cultural scenarios, change management and professional development. I have been recognised for my professional achievements and recently received a Chiefs Commendation for Excellent Patient Care. I demonstrate excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and relish new challenges, by way of continuous study and both personal and professional development. I am able to demonstrate the ability to forge, lead and motivate thus ensuring greater patient care and outcome.

My previous role as a Critical Care Paramedic also saw me working in an ITU ward on a rotational basis and working alongside HEMS on many pre-hospital critical incidents, where I was the senior clinical lead if no doctor was present.

I have 15 years military experience, where I was a Regimental Medical Assistant class 1 for my battalion. I was responsible as acting medical lead within the battalion, duties included, the running of the medical centre, assisting the medical officer and unaccompanied tours of Northern Ireland, working alone from a patrol base.

When operating out in the field, use of radios was an essential part of key communications and logistics. I also taught advanced first aid for the battalion of c800 men.

I also have previous security experience working for a private contractor, responsible for returning failed asylum seekers and illegal immigrants to their country of origin. My duties included being a team leader and medic and responsible for the team and detainees safety, ensuring their safe return. My duties also included liaising with UK immigration officials and overseas agencies.

I have also trained with SO19 (Met Police) firearms tactical support unit as a immediate response medic for my present Ambulance Service role, which is obviously case sensitive.
