Vendor Inspector on behalf of TUV Rheinland, Tecnicas Reunidas and Acciona Aqua.

I carry out third party inspections of equipment Centrifigural Pumps (Sulzer), Multistage Ring Section Pumps (Sulzer), Ceramec Filters (Outotec) and Rectangular Fire Dampers ( Halton Marine )) that is exported to various oil, gas and mining projects (the Sadara Project in Saudi Arabia, the MMX Project in Brazil, the South Pars Gas Field Development Phase 12 in Iran).

I conduct a wide range of inspections, such as item identification /verification, documentation review (including, among others, W.P.Ss, radiographic interpretation, coating procedures etc.), dimensional drawings, visual inspections, supervision of performance tests and marking / tagging inspections…

This position requires experience of Quality Control Engineering, the ability to work in an international environment, good communication and reporting skills, analytical skills and a thorough understanding of the technical specifications of the goods.

Terminal Supervisor

Key roles: Supervisory and development duties in a Break-bulk / Bulk terminal. I have been, among others, responsible for launching an extensive fertilizer shipment project in winter 2012 (mineral fertilizers such as monoammonium phosphate, NPK, diammonium phosphate etc.). Approximately 1.5-2.0 million tons of fertilizers passed through the terminal during the first year. I have also been in charge of developing customer relationships with a Russian customer. In addition to the duties listed above, I oversee all other operational duties (kaolin, chalk and break bulk ships). I oversee the port/terminal crew and coordinate all the aspects of port/terminal procedures. I collaborate with various logistical subcontractors and communicate with Communications with different stakeholders, such as shipping agents, forwarders, Imerys Minerals, BASF, LHOIST.

This position requires the simultaneous management of multiple tasks, strong leadership skills, a broad range of IT skills, the ability to work with international colleagues and customers, excellent reporting and communication skills and customer service skills.

Size and objective of the project: Currently around 1.5-2 million tons of fertilizers pass through the terminal. The objective is to permanently increase this number to approximately 3 million tons per year. We are committed to continuously fostering and building our customer relationships.

Load-Out Supervisor/Logistics Inspector

The key person in Load-Out operations on behalf of Sterm Oy (Nord Stream Gas pipeline)

Key roles: I supervised and witnessed (visual inspection) vessel (PSV) loading and discharging operations for concrete coated (+ 3 layer-polyethylene) steel pipes that were delivered to Pipelay barge (Baltic Sea). Quality Control + HSE – activities in vessel + transfer operations. I was responsible for 40 operatives. In addition, my duties entailed production planning, production control, human resources as well as transshipment and Load-Out to launch the process in Kotka, Finland, in winter 2010.

In addition, my duties consisted of monthly KPI and HSE reporting of events and statistics. I trained Finnish workforce on the use of pipe handling machinery and safety procedures applicable to pipe movements and storage. The port operations continued during harsh winter conditions. In addition, I supervised the handling of the added pipe security system (Rosen End-Caps).

This position requires experience of port operations, expertise regarding pipe quality control, personnel management skills (multicultural environment), excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
