Position – QA/QC Manager

• Responsible for developing and implementing quality management system and quality procedures.

• Ensure that quality, safety and productivity is achieve, maintain and satisfactory as per project requirements.

• Ensure that project procedures are updated and duly implemented.

• Review, coordinate and accept all Contractors deliverables as detailed in the document index such as Project Quality Plan, Method Statements, Specifications, Quality Procedures, Inspection Testing Plan, Material Submittal and Certification prior to work commencing.

• Ensure that the Client requirements are understood by all parties.

• Ensure that all Construction activities are inspected, approved and done in accordance with approved Drawings, MS’s, ITP’s, Project Specifications and approved Quality Procedures.

• Ensure that all necessary quality records such as RFI (Request for Inspection) and test documents are completed correctly and approved in a timely manner and compiled and maintained properly in a suitable quality control file or test pack prior to handover to Client.

• Verify that Contractors material traceability and inspection/testing documentation are properly developed in accordance with the Project Procedures.

• Verify materials correlation with Certificates and compliance with Codes and approved Specifications.

• Ensures that the daily log of all activities undertaken is maintained.

• Coordinate and review the work pack completion inspection and documentation required for final acceptance and contract close out.

• Ensure that the mechanical completion dossier is duly completed.

• Advise promptly Project Manager / Site Manager of any quality related problem, deviation or noncompliance.

• Assess Contractor’s QC team performances on site and share assessment report with Site Manager.

• Develop an agreed audit schedule and participate in any required audit as per the Quality and Integrity Management of the project.

• By means of audit inspection – ensure that Contractors have the latest revision of all Approved for Construction Drawings and all the Quality Procedures such as Method Statements and Inspection Testing Plan and ensure that all the Material Submittal are approved prior to application.

• Ensure that all the activities are conducted in strict compliance with the HSE standards and requirements. Ensure that relevant PPE are used.

Position – Senior QA/QC Engineer

• Responsible for overseeing all QA/QC activities pertaining to civil, architecture and structural works.

• Develop and implement the quality management system and quality procedures.

• Supervise all inspectors involved in inspection activities for effective quality control of project activities.

• Reviewing and approving inspection and testing plan and procedures.

• Implementing the project quality plan, quality procedures and Inspection testing plan in coordination with QA/QC Manager to provide the most efficient and effective on site construction works.

• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformance.

• Review corrective action recommended in non-conformance reports and verifies corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of non-conformity.

• Identify quality problems and recommend corrective and preventive action.

• Review and verify all material test certificates for correctness, legibility and completeness.

• Participate in internal and external quality audits and assessments.

• Planning and coordinating QA/QC activities of the project.

• Direct the respective QA/QC inspectors to fulfil the inspection and test requirements of the contract at all stages.

• Coordinate with QA/QC Manager in overall Quality Management System.

• Liaise with respective Construction Engineers on all quality related activities of the project.

• Raise Non-conformance Report (NCR) and Corrective Action Report (CAR) when activities deviate from the contract specifications or normal construction industry practices.

• Liaise with the Client staff regarding any non-compliance, complaints or areas of concern to ensure that these are handled in a timely and effective manner.

• Ensure quality records are maintained in a suitable quality control file.

• Preparation of hand over documentation and test packages as required.
