Short Bio:

I am currently a Senior Social Worker, trained and registered in England. For the past 7 years I have worked with vulnerable children and young people from different backgrounds and circumstances; providing them with the support and protection they need to be healthy and stay safe.

I am moving to Manila in October 2014, and I am currently seeking employment for when I arrive in the Phillipines.

Skills and Experience:

• Strategic development – Representing Children’s Services at the MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) and Health Liaison Meetings for Unborn Babies on a monthly basis

• Undertaking initial Assessments, core assessments and risk assessments with outcomes based on updated research.

• Working with the most vulnerable children within the community and their families assessing their needs and potential risks to ensure their safety

• Assessments and planning focused on the children and their welfare, taking into consideration the prospect of change.

• Undertaking Initial assessments, section 47 investigations, section 7& 37 reports, core assessments and risk assessments according to a duty rota.

• Completing Unborn Core Assessments and Section 47 enquiries as per the Hertfordshire County Council Pre Birth Protocol

• Progressing cases through legal proceedings including attending Legal Planning Meetings, PLO meetings, preparing documents for court and applying for order for children when required.

• Working in partnership with service users and key agencies including Mental Health, Education, Youth Offending, Probation, Community Drug and Alcohol support, CAIU, Children’s Centre’s and the Police
